Well we are all recovering after a wonderful Christmas Day. It was great having all the kids with us for our usual brunch. We spent most of the morning getting the feast ready and playing on the Wii that we got the kids. (I think Ashleigh threw her shoulder out playing 10 pin bowling!) It was great fun. During the afternoon the partners of the kids arrived and we played with the Nintendo a bit more. At about 5pm we headed off to Paul and Rachel's new house for the traditional family get together. It was a delightful evening enjoyed by one and all! Paul and Rachel did a fantastic job under some seriously trying circumstances. (Imagine a fridge breaking down on Christmas Eve!)
Today we are enjoying relaxing infront of the television watching the Boxing Day Test. Tomorrow we will start getting ready to head off in the Quantum for a few weeks. We are planning on spending a few days in Albany and then on meeting up with Vicki and Rod in Esperance and heading east to a camp ground at Thomas River that Rod knows of. The kids will be staying home and looking after the house. We hope to be able to update our blog a little as we travel (subject to internet availability).
We have posted some of the photos from Christmas Day on our Flickr site. Follow the "Our Photos" link on the right hand side of the page to see them.
Merry Christmas!
